Main Ingredients (4-5 servings)
Seasonings
Steps
- Crack 3 eggs into a bowl.
- Add a pinch of salt and a little pepper to the eggs, and also add 1 tbsp milk and mix. [This is the trick!] Salty, moist salt is recommended. Be sure to measure the milk with a spoon.
- Mix with chopsticks or a small whisk, thoroughly breaking the elasticity of the egg whites.
- Heat a 20cm diameter frying pan over medium-low heat. [This is the trick!] Do not use an old frying pan where eggs tend to stick.
- Add butter to the frying pan and melt.
- When the frying pan is hot and makes a sizzling sound, add 2/3 of the egg mixture and quickly stir from the outside to the inside to create scrambled eggs.
- Once soft scrambled eggs are formed, return them to the bowl with the remaining 1/3 of the egg mixture and mix.
- Wash the frying pan, melt butter again, and check the temperature.
- Pour the remaining egg mixture into the frying pan heated until it makes a sizzling sound, and cook over medium-low heat for about 20 seconds.
- Then, let it cook through with the residual heat of the frying pan.
- Fold the egg in three, from front to back, then from back to front. [This is the trick!] Use a heat-resistant, soft rubber spatula to flip it gently.
- Place the folded side down and let it stick with residual heat, then shape it into a round form with the rubber spatula.
- Slowly place the egg onto the warm rice with the seam side down.
- Make an incision with a knife while it's hot, and open the egg.
- Top with ketchup and parsley to complete.
- Add 2 minced cloves of garlic and 4 tbsp olive oil to a frying pan and heat over low heat. [This is the trick!] Be careful as tube garlic tends to splatter in oil.
- Add 1 onion and 200g bacon, and stir-fry until softened.
- Add 2 cups cooked rice and mix well.
- Add 50g butter, a little salt, a little pepper, and a little garlic powder, and mix thoroughly.
- Stir-fry over low heat until the rice becomes fluffy. Garlic butter rice is complete. [This is the trick!] This rice tends to become fluffy easily, so cook it over low heat.
