Ingredients

Main Ingredients (4-5 servings)

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 200g bacon
  • 2 cups cooked rice

Seasonings

  • A pinch of salt
  • A little pepper
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 50g butter
  • A little salt
  • A little pepper
  • A little garlic powder

Steps

  1. Crack 3 eggs into a bowl.
  2. Add a pinch of salt and a little pepper to the eggs, and also add 1 tbsp milk and mix. [This is the trick!] Salty, moist salt is recommended. Be sure to measure the milk with a spoon.
  3. Mix with chopsticks or a small whisk, thoroughly breaking the elasticity of the egg whites.
  4. Heat a 20cm diameter frying pan over medium-low heat. [This is the trick!] Do not use an old frying pan where eggs tend to stick.
  5. Add butter to the frying pan and melt.
  6. When the frying pan is hot and makes a sizzling sound, add 2/3 of the egg mixture and quickly stir from the outside to the inside to create scrambled eggs.
  7. Once soft scrambled eggs are formed, return them to the bowl with the remaining 1/3 of the egg mixture and mix.
  8. Wash the frying pan, melt butter again, and check the temperature.
  9. Pour the remaining egg mixture into the frying pan heated until it makes a sizzling sound, and cook over medium-low heat for about 20 seconds.
  10. Then, let it cook through with the residual heat of the frying pan.
  11. Fold the egg in three, from front to back, then from back to front. [This is the trick!] Use a heat-resistant, soft rubber spatula to flip it gently.
  12. Place the folded side down and let it stick with residual heat, then shape it into a round form with the rubber spatula.
  13. Slowly place the egg onto the warm rice with the seam side down.
  14. Make an incision with a knife while it's hot, and open the egg.
  15. Top with ketchup and parsley to complete.
  16. Add 2 minced cloves of garlic and 4 tbsp olive oil to a frying pan and heat over low heat. [This is the trick!] Be careful as tube garlic tends to splatter in oil.
  17. Add 1 onion and 200g bacon, and stir-fry until softened.
  18. Add 2 cups cooked rice and mix well.
  19. Add 50g butter, a little salt, a little pepper, and a little garlic powder, and mix thoroughly.
  20. Stir-fry over low heat until the rice becomes fluffy. Garlic butter rice is complete. [This is the trick!] This rice tends to become fluffy easily, so cook it over low heat.
