  • Beef 200g
  • Canned Tomatoes 400g
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Capers 2 tsp
  • Black Olives about 12
  • Basil (to taste)

Seasonings

  • Dried Oregano 2-3 tsp
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Olive Oil (to taste)
  • Water (a little)
  • Pepper (to taste)

Steps

  1. Finely chop 1 clove of garlic.
  2. Place chopped garlic and olive oil (to taste) in a pot and heat over medium heat.
  3. Once the garlic is fragrant, add 400g of canned tomatoes and a little water.
  4. Season the sauce with salt (to taste). Add pepper (to taste) as desired.
  5. Simmer the sauce slightly, then add 2-3 tsp of dried oregano to release the aroma. (Key Tip!) Crushing or rubbing the dried oregano will enhance its fragrance.
  6. Sprinkle salt (to taste) on 200g of beef (sirloin or thinly sliced beef) and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  7. Add the cut beef to the sauce and simmer until just cooked.
  8. In a separate pot, add chopped garlic and olive oil (to taste) and heat over medium heat.
  9. Once the garlic is fragrant, add 400g of canned tomatoes.
  10. Season the sauce with salt (to taste).
  11. Add 2-3 tsp of dried oregano to release the aroma.
  12. Add 2 tsp of capers and about 12 pitted black olives to the sauce.
  13. Sear 200g of beef (thinly sliced beef, etc.) in a frying pan until cooked. (Key Tip!) Searing the meat first adds a savory flavor.
  14. Add the seared beef to the sauce and simmer briefly.
  15. Finally, stir in fresh basil (to taste).
