- Beef 200g
- Canned Tomatoes 400g
- Garlic 1 clove
- Capers 2 tsp
- Black Olives about 12
- Basil (to taste)
Seasonings
- Dried Oregano 2-3 tsp
- Salt (to taste)
- Olive Oil (to taste)
- Water (a little)
- Pepper (to taste)
Steps
- Finely chop 1 clove of garlic.
- Place chopped garlic and olive oil (to taste) in a pot and heat over medium heat.
- Once the garlic is fragrant, add 400g of canned tomatoes and a little water.
- Season the sauce with salt (to taste). Add pepper (to taste) as desired.
- Simmer the sauce slightly, then add 2-3 tsp of dried oregano to release the aroma. (Key Tip!) Crushing or rubbing the dried oregano will enhance its fragrance.
- Sprinkle salt (to taste) on 200g of beef (sirloin or thinly sliced beef) and cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Add the cut beef to the sauce and simmer until just cooked.
- In a separate pot, add chopped garlic and olive oil (to taste) and heat over medium heat.
- Once the garlic is fragrant, add 400g of canned tomatoes.
- Season the sauce with salt (to taste).
- Add 2-3 tsp of dried oregano to release the aroma.
- Add 2 tsp of capers and about 12 pitted black olives to the sauce.
- Sear 200g of beef (thinly sliced beef, etc.) in a frying pan until cooked. (Key Tip!) Searing the meat first adds a savory flavor.
- Add the seared beef to the sauce and simmer briefly.
- Finally, stir in fresh basil (to taste).
