    Seasonings

    • [A] Soy Sauce 2 tbsp
    • [A] Miso Paste 1 tbsp
    • [A] Cooking Sake (Rice Wine) 1 tbsp
    • [A] Toasted White Sesame Seeds 1 tbsp
    • [A] Sugar 1 tbsp
    • [A] Jam 1 tbsp
    • [A] Sesame Oil 1 tbsp
    • [A] Minced Green Onions 2 tbsp
    • [A] Grated Ginger 1/2 clove
    • [A] Grated Garlic 1/2 clove

    Steps

    1. In a bowl, combine 2 tbsp Soy Sauce, 1 tbsp Miso Paste, 1 tbsp Cooking Sake (Rice Wine), 1 tbsp Toasted White Sesame Seeds, 1 tbsp Sugar, 1 tbsp Jam, 2 tbsp Minced Green Onions, 1/2 clove Grated Ginger, and 1/2 clove Grated Garlic. Mix well. The addition of green onions enhances the aroma and balances the sweetness and spiciness.
    2. Finally, add 1 tbsp Sesame Oil and mix. Adding the oil at the end coats the ingredients with umami.
    3. If using as a marinating sauce, cover with plastic wrap and heat in the microwave for about 1 minute. Heating the sauce enhances its flavor and makes it even more delicious.
