Ingredients

Main Ingredients (1 serving)

  • Prosciutto 50g
  • Green onion 25g
  • Cooked rice 200g
  • Egg yolk 1

Seasonings

  • [A] Soy sauce 1 tsp
  • [A] Gochujang 1 tsp
  • [A] Sugar 1 tsp
  • [A] Grated garlic a little
  • [A] Sesame oil 1 tsp
  • [A] MSG(Ajinomoto) (MSG) 1 dash
  • Sesame seeds to taste
  • Chili oil to taste

Steps

  1. Mince 25g green onion. Transfer the minced green onion to a bowl. [Pro Tip!] To enjoy the texture of the green onion, transfer it to a bowl immediately after mincing.
  2. Peel the garlic.
  3. Separate 50g prosciutto slice by slice and cut into bite-sized pieces. Place the cut prosciutto in a bowl. [Pro Tip!] Separating and cutting slice by slice gives the prosciutto a fluffy texture.
  4. To the bowl with prosciutto and green onion, add 1 tsp sugar, a little grated garlic, 1 dash MSG(Ajinomoto) (MSG), 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp gochujang, and 1 tsp sesame oil, and mix well.
  5. Separate the egg yolk from the egg white. Reserve the egg yolk for the yukhoe don, and use the egg white for another dish.
  6. Heat 200g cooked rice in the microwave.
  7. Serve the heated rice in a bowl.
  8. Place the prepared prosciutto yukhoe and 1 egg yolk on top of the served rice.
  9. Sprinkle sesame seeds to taste while twisting them, and if desired, drizzle with chili oil to taste and sesame oil to taste to finish. [Pro Tip!] Twisting the sesame seeds while sprinkling enhances their aroma, making the dish even more delicious.
