Steps

  4. Thinly slice the halved onion.
  5. Cut the mushrooms into bite-sized pieces.
  6. Heat a pot over high heat and add vegetable oil (to taste).
  7. Sauté the onion.
  8. Sprinkle salt (to taste) and sugar (to taste) on the sautéed onion.
  9. Heat a frying pan over high heat with vegetable oil (to taste).
  10. Sear the sliced beef chuck (200g).
  11. Sprinkle a pinch of salt on the searing beef chuck.
  12. Transfer the seared beef chuck to the pot with the sautéed onion.
  13. Scrape up any meat drippings left in the frying pan, heat it up, then add red wine (150ml).
