Ingredients

Main Ingredients (1 serving)

  • Edamame (shelled) 200g
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Butter 15g

Seasonings

  • Chicken bouillon powder 2/3 tsp
  • Salt 1 pinch
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese to taste
  • Olive oil to taste
  • Tabasco to taste

Steps

  1. Crush 2 cloves of garlic with a knife and coarsely chop. [Chef's Tip!] Crushing before slicing helps release more aroma.
  2. Thaw frozen edamame (in pods) and shell 200g of edamame. If there's excess moisture, drain it using a colander. [Chef's Tip!] If pre-shelled edamame is available, using it will save effort.
  3. Melt 15g of butter in a frying pan, add the coarsely chopped garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add the shelled 200g of edamame to the sautéed garlic and butter, and stir-fry together.
  5. Add 2/3 tsp of chicken bouillon powder and stir-fry until the flavor is evenly distributed.
  6. Add 1 pinch of salt and black pepper to taste, and stir-fry further.
  7. Transfer the stir-fried edamame to a serving dish.
  8. Sprinkle a generous amount of Parmesan cheese to taste over the entire dish.
  9. Finish by sprinkling black pepper to taste.
  10. Optionally, add Tabasco to taste to enjoy a flavor change.
