Ingredients
Main Ingredients (Makes 6 pieces)
- Low-gluten flour 75g
- Baking powder 4g
- Sugar 20g
- Salt 1g
- Milk 50ml
- Egg 1 pc
- Sausages 2 pcs
- Mixed cheese (to taste)
Seasonings
- Ketchup (to taste)
- Mayonnaise (to taste)
- Coarsely ground black pepper (to taste)
- Dried parsley (to taste)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine low-gluten flour (75g), baking powder (4g), sugar (20g), and salt (1g). Mix well. This completes your homemade hot cake mix!
- Cut 2 sausages into bite-sized cubes.
- In a separate bowl, crack 1 egg and add 50ml of milk. Whisk together thoroughly.
- Gradually add 100g of the prepared hot cake mix to the egg mixture, mixing until no lumps remain.
- Preheat your oven to 170°C (340°F).
- Line muffin cups with paper liners. (If you don't have muffin tins, you can use pudding cups lined with parchment paper.)
- Pour dough into the cups, filling them about 60% full. Be careful not to overfill, as the dough will expand.
- Once the dough is in the cups, scatter the cubed sausages on top.
- Bake in the preheated 170°C (340°F) oven for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, carefully remove the muffin tin from the oven and sprinkle mixed cheese evenly over the tops.
- Drizzle ketchup over the cheese.
- Drizzle mayonnaise over the ketchup.
- Sprinkle with coarsely ground black pepper if desired.
- Return to the 170°C (340°F) oven and bake for another 10 minutes.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and sprinkle with dried parsley. Your sausage cheese bread is ready!
