  • [B] Water 2 tbsp
  • [B] Potato Starch 1/2 tsp
  • Sesame Oil 2 tbsp

Steps

  1. Separate the broccoli into florets. Make a cross-shaped cut into the stem of 8 well-shaped florets.
  2. Peel the remaining broccoli and finely mince it.
  3. Soak the broccoli florets with the cross-shaped cut in water.
  4. Blanch the broccoli florets for 10-15 seconds, then immediately plunge into ice water and drain.
  5. Place the minced broccoli in a colander and blanch for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Thoroughly drain the blanched minced broccoli using paper towels.
  7. Drain the broccoli florets that were soaked in water.
  8. In a bowl, add 50g of ground pork, a pinch of salt, a pinch of pepper, and 1 tbsp of soy sauce, and mix well.
  9. Add 1 tsp of ginger and 1 tsp of garlic, and knead further.
  10. Add 1 tbsp of Cooking Sake (Rice Wine), 1 tbsp of sesame oil, and a pinch of potato starch, and mix.
  11. Add the drained minced broccoli and mix everything thoroughly.
  12. Spread the mixed ground pork and broccoli evenly onto a flat plate.
  13. Arrange the blanched and drained broccoli florets around the edge of the spread ground pork.
  14. Steam for 5 minutes in a preheated steamer.
  15. In a separate bowl, combine 1 tbsp of Cooking Sake (Rice Wine), 1 tbsp of oyster sauce, 1 tbsp of black vinegar, 1 tsp of soy sauce, a pinch of pepper, 2 tbsp of water, and 1/2 tsp of potato starch, and mix well.
  16. Heat 2 tbsp of sesame oil and 1 tbsp of green onion in a frying pan until the green onion sizzles.
  17. Add the mixed sauce and stir while bringing to a simmer to thicken.
  18. Pour the prepared sauce over the steamed broccoli hamburg steak to complete.
