Ingredients
Main Ingredients (2 servings)
- Thinly Sliced Pork Belly 150g
- Lettuce 1/2 head
Seasonings
- Sesame Oil (to taste)
- Soy Sauce 1 tbsp
- Salt (a pinch)
- Coarsely Ground Black Pepper (a pinch)
Steps
- Cut the core of the lettuce into a V-shape.
- Tear half a head of lettuce into bite-sized pieces and wash.
- Cut 150g of thinly sliced pork belly into bite-sized pieces.
- Lightly loosen the cut pork.
- Lightly season the pork with a pinch of salt and let it absorb.
- Heat a small amount of sesame oil (to taste) in a frying pan.
- Once the pan is hot, add the pork and stir to prevent it from clumping as it cooks.
- Once the pork changes color, increase the heat to high.
- Add the washed lettuce and sear over high heat. [Key Tip!] Don't aim for crisp lettuce; sear it over high heat for a fragrant finish.
- Once the lettuce wilts, pour 1 tbsp of soy sauce along the edge of the pan and stir-fry quickly over high heat.
- When everything is cooked through, drizzle a little sesame oil around the pan for extra flavor.
- Plate the dish.
- Generously sprinkle a pinch of coarsely ground black pepper on top as a finishing touch.
