Ingredients
Main Ingredients (1 serving)
- Dried Pasta 100g
- Kimchi 80g
- Daikon Radish (Takuan) 60g
- Scallions (Green Onions) a little
Seasonings
- [A] Sesame Oil 2 tbsp
- [A] Grated Garlic 1 tsp
- [A] Salt 1/4 tsp
- Toasted Sesame Seeds 1 tbsp
Steps
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add a pinch of salt, and cook 100g of dried pasta. If using a frying pan, break the pasta in half before adding. Key Tip: Cook the pasta according to the specified time (5 minutes).
- While the pasta is cooking, combine 2 tbsp of sesame oil, 1 tsp of grated garlic, and 1/4 tsp of salt in a large bowl.
- Finely chop 80g of kimchi and add it to the bowl.
- Thinly slice 60g of daikon radish (takuan) into strips so it easily mixes with the pasta. Key Tip: Slicing it thinly creates a cohesive texture with the pasta.
- Drain the cooked pasta thoroughly and add it to the bowl with the seasonings, kimchi, and daikon radish mixture.
- Mix well to ensure the pasta, ingredients, and seasonings are evenly coated.
- If the mixture seems too dry, add a small amount of the pasta cooking water to adjust the consistency.
- Add 1 tbsp of toasted sesame seeds. Taste and adjust with salt if needed, then mix again thoroughly.
- Transfer the mixed pasta to a serving plate.
- Sprinkle with chopped scallions (green onions) a little and serve. Finished!
