Ingredients

Main Ingredients (2 servings)

  • Ham 4-6 slices
  • Eggs 4
  • Cabbage 2 leaves

Seasonings

  • Mayonnaise (to taste)
  • Okonomiyaki Sauce (to taste)
  • Mustard Paste (to taste)
  • Aonori (Dried Green Seaweed) (to taste)
  • Pickled Ginger (to taste)

Steps

  1. Remove the core from 2 leaves of cabbage and shred them.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and stir-fry the shredded 2 leaves of cabbage.
  3. Crack 4 eggs into a bowl and whisk them.
  4. Push the stir-fried cabbage to one side of the frying pan.
  5. Pour the whisked egg into the empty space and spread it thinly.
  6. Place the stir-fried cabbage on top of the egg.
  7. Arrange 4-6 slices of ham in the empty space and sear them quickly.
  8. Layer the seared ham on top of the egg and cabbage.
  9. Fold the egg, cabbage, and ham into a square shape and tidy it up.
  10. Prepare a plate.
  11. Transfer the Ham and Egg Pancake to the plate.
  12. Drizzle with Okonomiyaki Sauce and mayonnaise to finish.
  13. Generously add mustard paste.
  14. Top with aonori and pickled ginger, if desired.
