Ingredients
Main Ingredients (2 servings)
- Spaghettini 160g
- Water 1.5ℓ
- Salt 1 tbsp
- Garlic 1 clove
- Bacon 4 slices
- Eggs 2
- Grated Cheese 2 tbsp~
Seasonings
- Olive Oil 2 tbsp~
- Coarse Ground Pepper (to taste)
- Soy Sauce (to taste)
Steps
- Boil 1.5ℓ of Water in a pot, add 1 tbsp Salt and dissolve. It's recommended to measure and add the salt.
- Add 160g Spaghettini to the boiling water and cook, aiming to finish 1-2 minutes earlier than the package instructions.
- Slice the garlic, then roughly chop it.
- Roughly cut the bacon in half. You can also leave it whole.
- Heat 2 tbsp~ Olive Oil in a frying pan and fry 2 Eggs to make sunny-side-up eggs. When the egg starts to spread, press it down with a spoon to help it hold its shape.
- Next to the fried eggs, cook the chopped bacon until it releases its fat.
- Once the fried eggs are nicely browned, remove them from the frying pan.
- Add a little more Olive Oil to the frying pan used for the bacon. Turn off the heat and add the minced garlic. If the frying pan is too hot, the garlic can burn easily, so turn off the heat and cook with residual heat.
- Once the garlic turns golden, add 1 tbsp of pasta cooking water and simmer briefly.
- Without draining the pasta, transfer it directly to the frying pan and toss with the garlic oil.
- Turn off the heat, add plenty of 2 tbsp~ Grated Cheese, and mix with the pasta using the residual heat.
- Plate the pasta and top with the cooked bacon and fried eggs.
- Optionally, sprinkle generously with extra grated cheese and coarse ground pepper.
- For the finishing touch, drizzle a small amount of Soy Sauce to enhance the flavor.
- Optionally, drizzle a small amount of olive oil for aroma.
