Main Ingredients (1 serving)
- Bean sprouts 100g
- Cooked rice 200g
- Egg 1
- Garlic 1/2 clove
Seasonings
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Sesame oil 1 and 1/2 tsp
- MSG(Ajinomoto) 3 dashes
- Yakiniku sauce 1 and 1/2 tbsp
- Gochujang to taste
- Chili oil to taste
Steps
- Warm up the cooked rice.
- Peel 1/2 clove of garlic.
- Add 100g bean sprouts to a frying pan.
- While grilling the bean sprouts, add 1/4 tsp salt, 1 and 1/2 tsp sesame oil, and 3 dashes MSG(Ajinomoto), then stir-fry. [Chef's Tip!] Do not overcook the bean sprouts; this will ensure they retain a pleasant texture when cooked further in later steps.
- Remove the stir-fried bean sprouts from the pan.
- Without turning on the heat, add only the egg white from 1 egg to the pan where the bean sprouts were stir-fried.
- Lightly mix the egg white, then place the warmed 200g cooked rice in the center of the pan and grill, lightly mixing it with the egg white.
- Once the rice starts to brown and sizzle, turn off the heat.
- Return the stir-fried bean sprouts to the pan.
- Grate the peeled 1/2 clove of garlic and scatter it over the bean sprouts.
- Drizzle with 1 and 1/2 tbsp yakiniku sauce.
- Add gochujang to taste and chili oil to taste, if desired.
- Top with the egg yolk from 1 egg and serve.
