  • Cabbage 250g
  • Sausages 6
  • Garlic 2 cloves

Seasonings

  • Olive oil 1 tbsp
  • Water 550ml
  • Sake 50ml
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Soy sauce 1/2 tbsp
  • Consommé 1 tbsp and 1 tsp
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Butter 20g
  • Dried parsley to taste
  • Tabasco

Steps

  1. Cut 250g cabbage into 3 equal parts. [Pro Tip!] By dividing it into three with the core still attached, you create wider cut surfaces, allowing for more aromatic frying.
  2. Cut 1 onion into wedges.
  3. Peel 2 potatoes (180g) and cut them into bite-sized irregular pieces. [Pro Tip!] We peel the potatoes this time to enhance their flavor.
  4. Slice 2 cloves garlic.
  5. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pot over medium heat.
  6. Add cabbage, onion, and garlic to the heated pot and cook until well browned.
  7. Once everything is sautéed, add 6 sausages and stir-fry.
  8. Add 250g pork loin to the center of the pot and cook.
  9. Add 550ml water and 50ml sake, then mix everything.
  10. Add 1/4 tsp salt and 1/2 tbsp soy sauce, then mix. [Pro Tip!] Adding a small amount of soy sauce enhances the umami of the consommé, creating a richer flavor.
  11. Add 1 tbsp and 1 tsp consommé (2 cubes if solid) and mix until dissolved.
  12. Sprinkle with black pepper to taste.

  14. Turn off the heat, add 1 tsp sugar and 20g butter, and mix until dissolved.
  15. Serve in bowls, sprinkle with dried parsley to taste, and it's done.
  16. Add Tabasco to taste for a change of flavor, if desired.
