Make this new-style crispy cheese burger in just 15 minutes using only a frying pan! It's made with a mix of ground beef and pork, and gyoza wrappers, offering a unique texture. The rich flavor of cheese and ground meat is perfectly balanced by the refreshing taste of shallots and onions. It's a simple dish with minimal cleanup, ideal for busy days.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients (2 servings)

  • Ground beef and pork mix 150g
  • Gyoza wrappers 15 sheets
  • Onion 1/6 (30g)
  • Mixed cheese 40g
  • Pickled shallots 6 pieces

Seasonings

  • Ketchup (to taste)
  • Mayonnaise (to taste)
  • Dried parsley (to taste)

Steps

  1. Peel and finely chop the onion.
  2. Finely chop the pickled shallots.
  3. Place the ground beef and pork mix (150g) in a frying pan and spread it into a circle about 22cm in diameter, pressing it down with your hands.
  4. Arrange the 15 gyoza wrappers on top of the ground meat, overlapping the edges to form a circle. Ensure there are no gaps.
  5. Once the gyoza wrappers are in place, cook over medium heat until the ground meat on the bottom is browned.
  6. When the bottom is browned and the patty slides easily in the pan, carefully transfer it to a plate.
  7. Drizzle the oil remaining in the frying pan over the patty on the plate.
  8. After drizzling the oil, cover the pan and flip the patty back into the frying pan.
  9. Once flipped, sprinkle the mixed cheese (40g) evenly over the top.
  10. Cover the pan and cook over medium heat for about 4-5 minutes, until the bottom is browned and the cheese is melted.
  11. After cooking for about 4-5 minutes and the cheese has melted, transfer to a plate. Key Tip: If there are any pink parts of the ground meat remaining, lightly microwave to ensure it's cooked through.
  12. Once on the plate, drizzle with ketchup (to taste) and mayonnaise (to taste).
  13. After adding the ketchup and mayonnaise, sprinkle the chopped pickled shallots and onions evenly over the top.
  14. After sprinkling the onions and shallots, scatter dried parsley (to taste) over everything.
  15. Your Crispy Cheese Burger is now complete!
