Ingredients

Main Ingredients (For 30 pods)

  • Broad beans 30 pods
  • Lemon wedges 1 piece

Seasonings

  • Salt 2-3 pinches
  • Oil 1 tbsp

Steps

  1. Make a shallow cut, about 1cm to 1.5cm deep, on the side of the broad beans opposite the black part.
  2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add 1 tbsp of oil, spread it evenly, then reduce heat to low.
  3. Place the prepped 30 broad beans in the frying pan in a single layer.
  4. Sear for about 6 minutes, flipping to brown both sides.
  5. Once both sides of the broad beans are browned and cooked through, turn off the heat.
  6. Lightly sprinkle 2-3 pinches of salt evenly over the cooked broad beans.
  7. Arrange on a plate and serve with 1 lemon wedge, if available.
