Ingredients

Main Ingredients (2 servings)

  • Eggplant 5
  • Bell Pepper 3

Seasonings

  • Salt (to taste)
  • Vegetable Oil 4 tbsp
  • Sugar 2 tbsp
  • Ichimi Togarashi (Chili Pepper) (to taste)
  • White Sesame Seeds (to taste)
  • [A] Miso 3 tbsp
  • [A] Mirin (Sweet Rice Wine) 2 tbsp
  • [A] Cooking Sake (Rice Wine) 3 tbsp

Steps

  1. Slice and salt the eggplant.
  2. Pat dry the eggplant moisture.
  3. Prepare the bell peppers.
  4. Make the sauce mixture.
  5. Stir-fry the eggplant.
  6. Add bell peppers and stir-fry.
  7. Drain excess oil.
  8. Coat with sugar.
  9. Add seasoning and simmer.
  10. Finish the dish.
