  • Ginger 1/2 piece
  • Garlic 2-3 cloves

Seasonings

  • Japanese soup stock granules 2 tsp
  • Miso 4 tbsp
  • Sesame oil a little
  • Vinegar (to taste)

Steps

  3. Prepare ginger (1/2 piece) and garlic (2-3 cloves).
  4. Heat sesame oil (a little) in a pot. Add thinly sliced pork belly (300g), daikon radish (6cm), carrot (2/3), burdock root (2/3), konjac jelly (2/3), ginger, and garlic. Sauté slowly. 【Key Tip!】 Sauté slowly to bring out the umami from the vegetables.

  6. Carefully skim off any scum.
  7. Dissolve miso (4 tbsp) and stir in.
