  • Bread Flour 75g
  • Salt 1g
  • Sugar 2g
  • Instant Yeast 1g
  • Lukewarm Water 60g
  • Mixed Cheese 60g
  • Butter 5g

    Steps

    1. In a heatproof bowl, add Bread Flour 75g and make an indentation on one side.
    2. In the indentation, add Salt 1g, Sugar 2g, and Instant Yeast 1g.
    3. Pour Lukewarm Water 60g directly onto the yeast and mix with a spatula.
    4. Rub the dough against the side of the bowl with the spatula, mixing well until it becomes smooth and no dry flour remains.
    5. Gather the dough into the center of the bowl and form a ball.
    6. Cover with plastic wrap, heat in the microwave at 600W for 15 seconds, then let it rest in the turned-off microwave for 30 minutes to ferment. This is the key! Heating in the microwave warms the dough and the microwave cavity, promoting quick fermentation.
    7. Once the dough has risen to about double its size, gently press it with the spatula to deflate.
    8. Lightly flour a clean surface (use bread flour).
    9. Divide the dough into two equal portions and flatten each to fit the size of your sandwich maker.
    10. On one of the flattened dough pieces, place Mixed Cheese 60g in the center.
    11. Cover with the other piece of dough, press out any air from the inside, and firmly seal the edges with your fingers.
    12. Place the assembled naan into the sandwich maker.
    13. Cook over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes until one side is golden brown.
    14. Flip and cook the other side for about 3 minutes until golden brown.
    15. Once both sides are browned, turn off the heat and add Butter 5g. Let it melt from the residual heat and spread evenly over the surface.
    16. Once the butter is evenly distributed, cut into desired portions and serve on a plate.
