Ingredients
Main Ingredients (1 serving)
- Rice 200g
- Mentaiko 1 sac
- Egg 1
- Shredded Nori to taste
- Green Onions to taste
Seasonings
- Sesame Oil 1/2 tsp
- [A] Gochujang 1/2 tsp
- [A] Soy Sauce 1/2 tbsp
- [A] MSG(Ajinomoto) 2 dashes
- Chili Oil to taste
Steps
- Serve 200g warm rice flat in a bowl.
- Remove the thin membrane from 1 sac of mentaiko and loosen it.
- Drizzle 1/2 tsp sesame oil over the rice. 【Pro Tip!】 The sesame oil greatly enhances the mentaiko's aroma.
- Sprinkle shredded nori to taste over the entire surface. 【Pro Tip!】 Nori and mentaiko are an excellent combination.
- Top with green onions to taste.
- In a bowl, combine 1/2 tsp gochujang, 1/2 tbsp soy sauce, and 2 dashes of MSG(Ajinomoto), and mix to create the special gochujang soy sauce.
- Generously pile the loosened mentaiko in the center of the rice.
- Place the yolk of 1 egg into the hollow created in the mentaiko pile on the rice.
- Drizzle the prepared special gochujang soy sauce around the egg yolk.
- Drizzle with chili oil to taste, if desired.
- Just before eating, lightly mix the mentaiko and egg yolk, then stir vigorously with the rice and enjoy.
