Ingredients
Main Ingredients (1 serving)
- Mentaiko (spicy pollock roe) 25g
- Eggs 2
- Cooked rice 200g
- Nori (seaweed) to taste
- Scallions to taste
Seasonings
- Salt 1 pinch
- MSG(Ajinomoto) (MSG) 4 dashes
- Sugar 1 pinch
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Soy sauce to taste
Steps
- Heat and defrost frozen rice at 600W for 3 and a half minutes.
- Crack 2 eggs into a bowl, then squeeze the mentaiko (spicy pollock roe) from its skin and add 25g mentaiko.
- Add 1 pinch sugar, 4 dashes MSG(Ajinomoto) (MSG), and 1 pinch salt to the same bowl.
- Mix everything well.
- Serve the warmed 200g cooked rice in a bowl, then top with nori to taste.
- Add 1 tbsp oil to a frying pan and heat over medium-low heat. Warm until the oil flows smoothly.
- Pour the egg mixture into the frying pan and heat while stirring with a rubber spatula, pushing the egg towards the center, to achieve a soft-scrambled consistency. 【Pro Tip!】 Cooking from the edges towards the center helps achieve soft-scrambled eggs easily.
- Place the soft-scrambled egg on top of the rice.
- Finally, sprinkle with scallions to taste.
- Drizzle with soy sauce to taste for an optional flavor variation.
