- Mayonnaise
Steps
- In a bowl, combine 1 egg and 70ml milk and mix well.
- Add 100g hot cake mix and a pinch of salt. Mix until no dry lumps remain.
- Lightly grease a frying pan with vegetable oil and heat over low to medium-low heat.
- Pour about one tablespoon of batter from a height onto the heated pan.
- Spread the batter thinly with a spoon, shaping it into a circle to match the length of the sausage.
- Once small bubbles start to form on the surface of the batter, place a sausage in the center. Cook for an estimated 2-3 minutes.
- Lift both ends of the batter and wrap it around the sausage.
- Flip the hot cake dog so the sausage side is down and continue to cook. Cook until the sausage has grill marks and the batter is fully cooked through.
- Once the sausages have nice grill marks and the batter has firmed up, remove from the pan and place on a plate.
