These crispy Negi Pork Patties are incredibly delicious and can be made in just 10 minutes! The combination of thinly sliced pork and green onions creates a fragrant and juicy patty. This recipe is budget-friendly and perfect as a snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients (2 servings)

  • Green Onion 1/2 stalk (60g)
  • Thinly Sliced Pork (for stir-fry) 250g
  • Potato Starch 2 tbsp
  • Egg 1

Seasonings

  • [A] Cooking Sake (Rice Wine) 1 tbsp
  • [A] Chicken Stock Powder 1 tsp
  • [A] Soy Sauce 1 tsp
  • [A] Grated Garlic 1 tsp

Steps

  1. Slice Green Onion (1/2 stalk, 60g) into 3mm thick rounds.
  2. Finely chop Thinly Sliced Pork (250g) into 1cm pieces.
  3. In a bowl, combine the chopped pork, Cooking Sake (Rice Wine) 1 tbsp, Chicken Stock Powder 1 tsp, Soy Sauce 1 tsp, Grated Garlic 1 tsp, Potato Starch 2 tbsp, and Egg 1.
  4. Lightly beat the egg and mix everything together thoroughly, kneading the seasonings and potato starch into the pork. This step ensures the pork is moist and tender, and the egg acts as a binder for a clean finish.
  5. Add the green onions and mix well to distribute evenly.
  6. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  7. Take a portion of the mixture in your hand, form it into a flattened round patty, and place it in the hot frying pan. Shape the patty by gathering the pork and green onions together to ensure a neat appearance.
  8. Cook until the bottom is golden brown and crispy.
  9. Flip the patties over once the bottom is browned.
  10. Cover with a lid and steam-fry over low-medium heat for 2.5 minutes. Steaming ensures the patties are cooked through to the center.
  11. Once cooked, transfer to a plate and serve.
