Ingredients
Main Ingredients (2 servings)
- Natto 1 pack
- Silken Tofu 150g
- Egg 1
- Potato Starch 1 tbsp
- Scallions (chopped) to taste
Seasonings
- [A] Natto sauce packet
- [A] Natto mustard packet
- Kore! Uma!! Tsuyu (Japanese all-purpose sauce) 2 tsp
- Salt 1 pinch
- Oil 2 tsp
- Soy Sauce to taste
- Rayu (Chili Oil) to taste
Steps
- Place 1 pack of natto, the accompanying sauce, and the accompanying mustard into a bowl.
- Mix the natto. 【Pro Tip!】 Mixing the natto before adding moisture enhances its fluffiness.
- To the mixed natto, add 150g silken tofu, 1 egg, 1 tbsp potato starch, 2 tsp Kore! Uma!! Tsuyu (Japanese all-purpose sauce), and 1 pinch of salt. Mix well while mashing the tofu.
- Heat 2 tsp oil in a frying pan.
- Pour the mixed batter into the frying pan and cook over medium heat.
- Cover with a lid and cook until the surface sets.
- Using the lid, flip it over and cook the other side for about 2 minutes.
- Once cooked, transfer to a plate.
- Top with scallions to taste and drizzle with soy sauce to taste.
- Serve with Rayu (chili oil) to taste, if desired.
