This dish offers surprising deliciousness, maximizing creaminess and umami while mellowing out the characteristic tartness of drinking mayonnaise with heat. Ingredients
Main Ingredients (1 serving)
- Drinking Mayo 100ml
- Bacon 40g
- 1.6mm Pasta 100g
- Egg 1
Seasonings
- Olive oil 1 tbsp
- Garlic powder 5 shakes
- Seasoned salt and pepper to taste
- Grated cheese to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Salt (for boiling pasta) 1% of water volume
Steps
- Cut 40g bacon into strips.
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a frying pan and sauté the bacon.
- Sauté until the bacon is crispy.
- Add 100ml drinking mayo to the frying pan.
- Season with 5 shakes garlic powder and seasoned salt and pepper to taste.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
- Add salt (approx. 1% of the water volume) to the boiling water and cook 100g of 1.6mm pasta slightly firmer than the package directions.
- Add the cooked pasta to the warmed sauce in the frying pan and mix well to coat.
- Add grated cheese to taste and mix until melted throughout.
- With the heat off, add the beaten egg 1 and mix to coat using residual heat.
- Heat gently over low heat, stirring until the sauce coats all the noodles. 【Tip!】 Adjust the heat to prevent the egg from scrambling and mix quickly.
- Plate and sprinkle with black pepper to taste to finish.
