Ingredients
Main Ingredients (1 serving)
- Shirataki noodles 200g
- Garlic 1 clove
- Scallions to taste
- Boiled egg 1
Seasonings
- [A] Soy sauce 5 tsp
- [A] Sugar 1/2 tsp
- [A] MSG(Ajinomoto) 9 dashes
- [A] Salt 1 pinch
- Water 270cc
- Table pepper to taste
- Sesame oil 2 tsp
- Ajishio (seasoned salt) to taste
Steps
- Wash the shirataki noodles in lukewarm water (around 40°C) to remove any odor.
- Lightly squeeze out excess water from the shirataki noodles.
- Cut the shirataki noodles in half.
- Add 1 egg to boiling water and cook for 7 and a half minutes.
- Place the washed and cut shirataki noodles into a frying pan.
- Add 5 tsp soy sauce, 1/2 tsp sugar, 1 clove grated garlic, 1 pinch salt, and 9 dashes MSG(Ajinomoto). Stir-fry until the liquid evaporates. [Pro Tip!] Stir-frying the shirataki directly with the seasonings allows the flavors to soak in more effectively.
- Add 270cc water to the stir-fried shirataki noodles and bring to a boil.
- Add 2 tsp sesame oil. [Pro Tip!] Adding sesame oil enhances the authentic ramen flavor and increases satisfaction.
- After plating, sprinkle 3 dashes table pepper and let it settle.
- Cut the cooked egg in half and sprinkle Ajishio (seasoned salt) to taste on the yolk. [Pro Tip!] Adding Ajishio to the boiled egg recreates the flavor of a seasoned egg (Ajitama).
- Garnish with scallions to taste.
