Ryuji's super easy recipe for an authentic meat sauce that doesn't require simmering and is ready in just 15 minutes. This special meat sauce, with its enhanced meaty texture, is versatile, pairing perfectly with pasta, doria, or rice. A magical recipe that delivers two supreme dishes simultaneously with incredible cost performance, sure to delight the whole family.
Ingredients
Main Ingredients (2 servings)
- Rumic 1 packet
- Ground mixed meat 150g
- Onion 100g
- Maitake mushrooms 50g
- 1.6mm pasta 100g
- Cooked rice 200g
- Pizza cheese 45g
Seasonings
- Butter 10g
- Black pepper to taste
- Water 200ml
- Salt to taste (for boiling pasta)
- Parmesan cheese to taste
Steps
- Finely chop the onion.
- Dice the maitake mushrooms.
- Heat and melt 10g butter in a frying pan.
- Add 150g ground mixed meat to the melted butter and cook until browned, without moving it too much. 【Here's the trick!】 By not moving the meat as it cooks and allowing it to char, you add depth to the meat sauce.
- Once the meat is browned, add 100g onion and sauté until translucent.
- When the onion starts to color, add 50g maitake mushrooms and sauté.
- After sautéing the ingredients, add 200ml water and 1 packet Rumic, mix, and simmer over low heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Once thickened and the ingredients have a creamy texture, add black pepper to taste and mix.
- Add water and salt to taste (approx. 1% salt concentration) to a pot and bring to a boil.
- Add 100g 1.6mm pasta to the boiling water and cook for 7 minutes.
- Place 200g cooked rice in an oven-safe dish and pour half of the prepared meat sauce over it.
- Top the rice with 45g pizza cheese and bake in a toaster oven until browned, about 10 minutes.
- Transfer the cooked pasta directly into the frying pan with the remaining meat sauce and toss with the sauce over heat.
- If the pasta is too firm, add a small amount of pasta water to adjust.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese to taste over the plated meat sauce pasta.
- Garnish the baked meat doria with parsley.
