Ingredients

Main Ingredients (Makes 2 pieces each)

  • Sato no Kirimochi 2 pieces
  • Onion 30g
  • Bacon 30g
  • Pizza cheese 40g
  • Sato no Kirimochi 2 pieces
  • Pork belly 70g
  • Cabbage 120g
  • Pizza cheese 25g
  • Sato no Kirimochi 2 pieces

Seasonings

  • [A] Mayonnaise 1 tbsp
  • [A] Ketchup 1 tbsp and 1 tsp
  • [A] Ajishio (seasoned salt) 3 shakes
  • [A] Black pepper to taste
  • Olive oil a small amount
  • Majisco (hot sauce) for a flavor change
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Kore! Uma!! Tsuyu (all-purpose sauce) 1 tbsp
  • Okonomi sauce to taste
  • Mayonnaise to taste
  • Katsuobushi (bonito flakes) to taste
  • Aonori (dried green seaweed flakes) to taste
  • Beni Shoga (red pickled ginger) as desired
  • Butter 10g
  • [B] Soy sauce 1 tbsp
  • [B] MSG(Ajinomoto) (MSG) 3 shakes
  • Onigiri Nori (seaweed sheets) 2 sheets

Steps

  1. Spread olive oil on aluminum foil, cut Sato no Kirimochi 2 pieces into 4 equal parts, and place them on it.
  2. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise 1 tbsp, ketchup 1 tbsp and 1 tsp, Ajishio 3 shakes, and black pepper to taste.
  3. Spread the mixed aurora sauce over the kirimochi, then top with thinly sliced onion 30g, bacon 30g, and pizza cheese 40g.
  4. Bake in a toaster oven at 200℃ for about 10 minutes until browned. Add Majisco as desired.
  5. Heat oil 1 tbsp in a frying pan, then stir-fry shredded cabbage 120g and pork belly 70g. Season with Kore! Uma!! Tsuyu 1 tbsp.
  6. Add thinly sliced Sato no Kirimochi 2 pieces and pizza cheese 25g, mix well, cover, and cook until browned.
  7. Flip and cover again, cooking until the mochi softens.
  8. Serve on a plate and top with okonomi sauce to taste, mayonnaise to taste, katsuobushi to taste, aonori to taste, and beni shoga as desired.
  9. Melt butter 10g in a frying pan and slowly grill Sato no Kirimochi 2 pieces on both sides. 【Tip!】 Slowly grilling the mochi will result in a crispy exterior and a chewy, gooey interior.
  10. Once the mochi has softened, add soy sauce 1 tbsp and MSG(Ajinomoto) 3 shakes and coat the entire mochi.
  11. Serve the grilled mochi on a plate and wrap with onigiri nori 2 sheets to finish.
