- Zucchini 200g
- Beaten Egg
- All-Purpose Flour
Seasonings
- Salt 1/3 tsp
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Vegetable Oil as needed
Steps
- Trim the ends of the zucchini.
- Slice the zucchini into 5mm to 8mm thick rounds.
- Add 1/3 tsp salt to the sliced zucchini rounds and rub to coat.
- Let the zucchini sit for 5 to 10 minutes to release moisture.
- Rinse off the salt from the zucchini and thoroughly pat dry with paper towels.
- Heat vegetable oil as needed in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Lightly coat the surface of the zucchini with all-purpose flour as needed. (Tip: Coating flour in a food bag makes it easier!)
- Dip the flour-coated zucchini into the beaten egg.
- Arrange the zucchini in the heated frying pan and cook over medium heat.
- Flip when the bottom side is golden brown.
- Remove once both sides are golden brown and crispy.
- Season the cooked zucchini with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve with ketchup or mayonnaise, if desired.
