- Ground beef and pork mix 150g
- Gyoza wrappers 15 sheets
- Onion 1/6 (30g)
- Mixed cheese 40g
- Pickled shallots 6 pieces
Seasonings
- Ketchup (to taste)
- Mayonnaise (to taste)
- Dried parsley (to taste)
Steps
- Peel and finely chop the onion.
- Finely chop the pickled shallots.
- Place the ground beef and pork mix (150g) in a frying pan and spread it into a circle about 22cm in diameter, pressing it down with your hands.
- Arrange the 15 gyoza wrappers on top of the ground meat, overlapping the edges to form a circle. Ensure there are no gaps.
- Once the gyoza wrappers are in place, cook over medium heat until the ground meat on the bottom is browned.
- When the bottom is browned and the patty slides easily in the pan, carefully transfer it to a plate.
- Drizzle the oil remaining in the frying pan over the patty on the plate.
- After drizzling the oil, cover the pan and flip the patty back into the frying pan.
- Once flipped, sprinkle the mixed cheese (40g) evenly over the top.
- Cover the pan and cook over medium heat for about 4-5 minutes, until the bottom is browned and the cheese is melted.
- After cooking for about 4-5 minutes and the cheese has melted, transfer to a plate. Key Tip: If there are any pink parts of the ground meat remaining, lightly microwave to ensure it's cooked through.
- Once on the plate, drizzle with ketchup (to taste) and mayonnaise (to taste).
- After adding the ketchup and mayonnaise, sprinkle the chopped pickled shallots and onions evenly over the top.
- After sprinkling the onions and shallots, scatter dried parsley (to taste) over everything.
- Your Crispy Cheese Burger is now complete!
