An exquisite fried rice with a fluffy and creamy texture, made with a generous amount of eggs. The rich flavor comes from the fragrant eggs and the special homemade ginger sauce. This versatile sauce recipe can also be used for yakisoba, tofu dishes, and meat dishes, making it useful for a variety of meals.
Ingredients
Main Ingredients (2 servings)
- 4 large Eggs
- 250g (approx. 1.25 cups) cooked Rice
- 3 slices Ham
Seasonings
- 2 tbsp Ginger Sauce
- Pinch of Salt
- Pinch of Pepper
- 2 tbsp White Sesame Oil
Steps
- Crack 4 large Eggs into a bowl and lightly beat them.
- In a separate bowl, add 250g (approx. 1.25 cups) warm cooked Rice and pour in the beaten 4 large Eggs. Mix well.
- Add a pinch of Salt and a pinch of Pepper to the egg and rice mixture.
- Finely mince 3 slices of Ham.
- Add the minced Ham to the bowl and mix until everything is evenly distributed.
- Heat 2 tbsp White Sesame Oil in a frying pan over high heat.
- Pour the entire egg and rice mixture into the hot frying pan all at once.
- Stir-fry, allowing the eggs to set, like making scrambled eggs. [The key is here!] Continue to stir-fry, imagining you are making scrambled eggs, so that the eggs cook into a soft, custardy consistency.
- Once the surface of the rice is slightly browned and the eggs are fluffy and set, gradually add 2 tbsp Ginger Sauce and stir-fry until evenly distributed throughout the rice.
- Once everything is well combined, transfer to a serving dish. Enjoy!
