No oven or special pan needed! This recipe makes a moist and smooth chocolate cake easily in your toaster. It's perfect for Valentine's Day and White Day. Enjoy a foolproof, exquisite dessert without any special equipment.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients (One 20x15cm cake)

  • 150g favorite chocolate bar
  • 100ml heavy cream (animal-based)
  • 50g~ sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 60g cake flour

Seasonings

  • Powdered sugar (to taste)

Steps

  1. Cut three sheets of aluminum foil to about 30cm length and stack them.
  2. Fold about 3cm of each edge of the stacked aluminum foil to create a mold.
  3. Turn the folded edges inside and align the corners to form a mold of approximately 20cm x 15cm. (Optional: You can use a enamel pan or other oven-safe container that fits in your toaster instead of aluminum foil.)
  4. Break the 150g of your favorite chocolate bar into bite-sized pieces while still wrapped in foil.
  5. Place the broken chocolate pieces in the microwave and melt them, checking and stirring every 1 minute. They should melt in about 2 minutes.
  6. While the melted chocolate is still warm, add 50g~ sugar and mix well.
  7. Gradually add 100ml of heavy cream in 2 to 3 additions, mixing well after each addition. (Using heavy cream instead of butter will result in a richer flavor and a glossy finish.)
  8. Add 2 beaten eggs in 2 to 3 additions, mixing well after each addition.
  9. Add 60g of cake flour without sifting and mix well until smooth, ensuring no lumps form. (To make it easy, cake flour can be added directly without sifting and still result in a smooth batter.)
  10. Pour the batter into the prepared aluminum foil mold. It's a good idea to place the mold on the toaster's tray before pouring in the batter.
  11. Pour the batter from a height to eliminate air bubbles on the surface and level it.
  12. Place the mold with the batter into the toaster and bake, monitoring closely. (Baking times vary depending on the toaster, so be careful not to burn it.)
  13. Once baked, let it cool down until the surface is set.
  14. Carefully peel off the aluminum foil mold and cut the cake into desired serving sizes.
  15. Dust the plated chocolate cake with powdered sugar (to taste) for a beautiful finish. (For an even more delicious treat, you can serve it with extra whipped cream.)
