  • Rice 200g
  • Mentaiko 1 sac
  • Egg 1
  • Shredded Nori to taste

Seasonings

  • Sesame Oil 1/2 tsp
  • [A] Gochujang 1/2 tsp
  • [A] Soy Sauce 1/2 tbsp
  • [A] MSG(Ajinomoto) 2 dashes
  • Chili Oil to taste

Steps

  1. Serve 200g warm rice flat in a bowl.
  2. Remove the thin membrane from 1 sac of mentaiko and loosen it.
  3. Drizzle 1/2 tsp sesame oil over the rice. 【Pro Tip!】 The sesame oil greatly enhances the mentaiko's aroma.
  4. Sprinkle shredded nori to taste over the entire surface. 【Pro Tip!】 Nori and mentaiko are an excellent combination.
  5. Top with green onions to taste.

  7. Generously pile the loosened mentaiko in the center of the rice.
  8. Place the yolk of 1 egg into the hollow created in the mentaiko pile on the rice.
  9. Drizzle the prepared special gochujang soy sauce around the egg yolk.
  10. Drizzle with chili oil to taste, if desired.
  11. Just before eating, lightly mix the mentaiko and egg yolk, then stir vigorously with the rice and enjoy.
