Just stack and cook! "Steamed Cabbage with Cold Chicken" is an easy dish made with just two main ingredients. The juicy chicken and cabbage infused with umami are exquisite, and it's conveniently made in just one pan.

- Cabbage 200g
- Chicken Thigh 1 pc (300g)
Seasonings
- Salt to taste
- [A] Ground Sesame Seeds 2 tbsp
- [A] Mirin (Sweet Rice Wine) 1 tbsp
- [A] Mayonnaise 1 tbsp
- [A] Vinegar 1/2 tbsp
- [A] Sugar 1 tsp
- [A] Miso 1 tsp
Steps
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine Mirin (Sweet Rice Wine) 1 tbsp and Sugar 1 tsp and microwave. After heating, add Mayonnaise 1 tbsp, Vinegar 1/2 tbsp, Miso 1 tsp, and Ground Sesame Seeds 2 tbsp, then mix to create the sesame sauce.
- Pierce the skin of Chicken Thigh 1 pc (300g) several times with a fork and season with Salt to taste.
- Roughly chop the Cabbage 200g.
- Line a frying pan with parchment paper, spread the roughly chopped Cabbage 200g. Sprinkle with Salt to taste, then place the prepared Chicken Thigh on top.
- Pour water under the parchment paper, cover with a lid, and heat over medium heat. Once boiling, reduce to low-medium heat, cook for 10 minutes, then turn off the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Transfer the steamed chicken to a cutting board and plate the cabbage. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and arrange on top of the cabbage.
- Drizzle the prepared sesame sauce over everything and serve. It's done!
