  • Onions 2 medium
  • Egg 1

  • Butter (as needed)

Seasonings

  • Salt 2.4g (1.2% of ground pork)
  • Black Pepper (to taste)

Steps

  1. Microwave 2 onions for 4-5 minutes.
  2. Cut the microwaved onions in half lengthwise and scoop out the insides to create a hollow shell.
  3. Finely chop the scooped-out onion insides.
  4. In a bowl, add 200g ground pork and 2.4g salt (1.2% of the pork) and mix lightly.
  5. Add 1 egg to the mixed pork and mix lightly.
  6. Add breadcrumbs (as needed) and milk (as needed) and mix further.
  7. Pat dry 1 Hokkaido Tokachi Fresh Mozzarella ball and cut it into small pieces.
  8. Add chopped parsley (as needed) and finely chopped onion insides to the pork bowl and mix.
  9. Add Tokachi Parmesan Cheese (as needed), black pepper (to taste), and soy sauce (to taste) to the pork and mix briefly.
  10. Lightly grease a gratin dish with butter (as needed) and arrange the hollowed-out onion shells.
  11. Firmly stuff the pork mixture into the onion shells. (Tip: Leftover mixture can be cooked like a hamburger steak and is delicious.)
  12. Top with sliced Hokkaido Tokachi Fresh Mozzarella and Tokachi Parmesan Cheese (as needed).
  13. Place in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) and bake for about 10 minutes.
  14. If the browning is not sufficient, increase the oven temperature to 250°C (480°F) and bake for an additional 5 minutes. (Tip: Baking time may vary depending on your oven. Cook until the meat is done and the surface is browned.)
