An addictive sweet and savory chicken wing recipe made with an air fryer. Simply marinate and bake for juicy, fragrant chicken wings with excess oil removed. An easy-to-make dish.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients (2 servings)

  • Chicken Wings 6 pcs

Seasonings

  • [A] Soy Sauce 1 tbsp
  • [A] Cooking Sake (Rice Wine) 1 tbsp
  • [A] Sugar 2 tsp
  • [A] Grated Garlic 1 tsp
  • [A] Salt and Pepper to taste

Steps

  1. Trim the tips off the chicken wings.
  2. Make about 3 slits on the skin side of the chicken wings to help the marinade penetrate and cook evenly. Cut between the bones.
  3. In a cooking bag, add Soy Sauce 1 tbsp, Cooking Sake (Rice Wine) 1 tbsp, Sugar 2 tsp, Grated Garlic 1 tsp, and Salt and Pepper to taste. Mix well by kneading.
  4. Marinate the chicken wings in the mixture for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 190 degrees Celsius (375 degrees Fahrenheit).
  6. Place the marinated chicken wings on the preheated rack, skin-side down.
  7. Bake in the air fryer for 10 minutes.
  8. After baking for 10 minutes, flip the chicken wings and bake for an additional 5 minutes. (Key Tip!) If not browned enough, continue baking while monitoring closely.
  9. Cut the baked chicken wings in half for easier eating.
