- [A] 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
- [A] 2 dashes MSG(Ajinomoto) (MSG)
- [A] 2/3 tsp Sugar
- Black pepper to taste
- Tabasco to taste
Steps
- Thinly slice 60g onion against the grain.
- Cut 110g beef into bite-sized pieces.
- Melt 10g butter in a frying pan over high heat.
- Once the butter has melted, add 110g beef to the pan, sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste, and stir-fry.
- Once the beef is cooked, add the sliced 60g onion and stir-fry until softened.
- Once the onion has softened, add [A] 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce, [A] 1/2 tbsp soy sauce, [A] 2 dashes MSG(Ajinomoto), and [A] 2/3 tsp sugar. - Serve 200g warm rice in a bowl and top with the stir-fried beef and onion.
- Garnish with black pepper to taste and beni shoga (pickled red ginger) to taste.
- For a flavor variation, add Tabasco to taste. 【The key here!】 Adding spicy condiments like Tabasco adds acidity and spiciness, further stimulating your appetite.
