Ingredients

  • Scamorza Cheese 400g
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • All-Purpose Flour (to taste)

Seasonings

  • Olive Oil 2 tbsp
  • Oregano (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • White Wine Vinegar (to taste)

Steps

  1. Remove the germ from 2 cloves of garlic.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a frying pan over low heat with the germ-removed garlic until fragrant.
  3. Slice the 400g of Scamorza cheese thickly.
  4. Once the garlic has infused the oil, remove the garlic.
  5. Lightly coat the sliced Scamorza cheese with a thin layer of all-purpose flour.
  6. Pan-fry the Scamorza cheese dusted with flour over medium heat until browned on both sides and melted.
  7. Once the Scamorza cheese is cooked through and softened, add oregano (to taste) and white wine vinegar (to taste), and briefly increase heat to coat.
  8. Transfer to a plate and season with salt (to taste) as desired to finish.
