Seasonings
Steps
- In a bowl, add 80ml water and 70ml milk. Microwave for about 20 seconds at 600W until lukewarm (around body temperature).
- Add 1g instant dry yeast and 5g sugar to the warmed liquid and mix.
- Add 50g bread flour, 50g cake flour, and 2 pinches salt. Mix until no lumps remain.
- Once the dough is mixed, cover with plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour. (Key Tip!) You can also use your oven's proofing function.
- Peel 2 small potatoes (approx. 120g), remove any eyes, and cut into about 4 pieces so they cook evenly.
- Place the potatoes in a microwave-safe container, cover with plastic wrap, and heat for about 3 minutes at 600W. Mash with a fork.
- Add 2 individually wrapped portions of cream cheese and 20g butter to the mashed potatoes and mix while they melt from the heat.
- Once the cream cheese and butter have melted, add a pinch of salt, 1/2 tsp dried parsley, and 1 tbsp milk and mix well.
- Cover the prepared potato paste with plastic wrap until ready to use to prevent it from drying out.
- Gently mix the risen dough with a ladle to release the gas.
- Lightly grease a frying pan with vegetable oil and heat over medium heat.
- Scoop out half a ladleful of dough and pour it into the frying pan. Cook until the surface sets.
- Once browned and the surface has set, flip the dough and cook the other side.
- Remove from the pan once both sides are browned.
- Cook the remaining dough in the same way.
- Spread half of the prepared potato paste over one half of a cooked dough circle.
- Tear 2 slices of sliced cheese in half and place them on top of the potato paste, covering the center.
- Microwave for 50 seconds to 1 minute at 600W to melt the cheese.
- Once the cheese is melted, drizzle honey over the entire filling.
- Fold the dough in half and serve. It's ready!
