  • 2 tsp Potato Starch

Seasonings

  • [A] 1 tbsp Shiro Dashi (White Soy Sauce Base)
  • [A] Salt and Pepper to taste
  • [A] 1 tsp grated garlic
  • [A] 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Vegetable Oil
  • grated wasabi to taste

Steps

  1. Prepare 6 chicken tenderloins.
  2. Remove the sinew from the chicken tenderloins.
  3. Cut each chicken tenderloin into 4 pieces.
  4. In a bowl, add the cut chicken tenderloins, 1 tbsp Cooking Sake (Rice Wine), 1 tbsp Shiro Dashi (White Soy Sauce Base), salt and pepper to taste, 1 tsp grated garlic, and 1 tsp sesame oil. Mix well by massaging.
  5. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  6. Add 2 tsp Potato Starch and mix to coat evenly.
  7. Skewer 4 pieces of the seasoned chicken tenderloin onto each skewer.
  8. Heat Vegetable Oil in a frying pan.
  9. Once the oil is heated, reduce to low heat and arrange the chicken skewers.
  10. Cover with a lid and steam-grill over low heat for 3 minutes.
  11. Flip the skewers, cover with a lid, and steam-grill over low heat for 5 minutes.

  13. Transfer to a plate.
