Ingredients

Main Ingredients (2 servings)

  • King Oyster Mushrooms 100g (1 pack)
  • Pork Slices 250g
  • Potato Starch 2 tbsp

Seasonings

  • [A] Cooking Sake (Rice Wine) 3 tbsp
  • [A] Chicken Bouillon Powder 1 tsp
  • [A] Grated Garlic 1 tsp
  • [A] Sesame Oil 1 tsp
  • [A] Coarsely Ground Black Pepper a pinch

Steps

  1. Finely chop King Oyster Mushrooms (100g, 1 pack) into 5mm cubes.
  2. Finely slice Pork Slices (250g) into approximately 5mm wide pieces.
  3. Place the chopped Pork Slices in a bowl.
  4. Add 3 tbsp Cooking Sake (Rice Wine), 2 tbsp Potato Starch, 1 tsp Chicken Bouillon Powder, 1 tsp Grated Garlic, 1 tsp Sesame Oil, and a pinch of Coarsely Ground Black Pepper to the bowl with the pork.
  5. Mix the seasonings into the Pork Slices, ensuring everything is well combined.
  6. Add the finely chopped King Oyster Mushrooms to the seasoned pork and mix thoroughly until the mixture holds together. [Key Tip!] Mixing in a kneading motion helps everything bind together evenly and makes it easier to shape.
  7. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  8. Take portions of the mixture in your hand, shape them into flat, round patties about the size of mini hamburgers, and place them in the hot frying pan. [Key Tip!] Flatten them in your palm or place them in the pan and gently press down from above to easily create the shape.
  9. Cook until the bottom is browned.
  10. Flip the patties when the bottom is browned.
  11. Cover with a lid and steam-fry over low to medium heat for 3 minutes.
  12. Once steam-fried, they are ready! Transfer to a serving dish.
