Ingredients
Main Ingredients (2 servings)
- Green Onion (about 10cm)
- Firm Tofu (1 block, 300g)
- Pork Belly (100g)
- Kimchi (100g)
Seasonings
- [A] Chicken Stock Powder (1 tsp)
- [A] Miso Paste (1 tsp)
- [A] Soy Sauce (1 tsp)
- [A] Sugar (1 tsp)
- Sesame Oil (1 tsp)
Steps
- Cut Green Onion (about 10cm) into large diagonal slices.
- Cut Firm Tofu (1 block, 300g) into 10 bite-sized pieces.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Place the tofu pieces in the heated pan and sear until golden brown.
- Flip the tofu and sear the other side until golden brown.
- Push the seared tofu to the edge of the pan.
- In the cleared space, add Pork Belly (100g), torn into bite-sized pieces, and spread it out.
- Stir-fry the pork, being careful not to burn the tofu.
- Once the pork is cooked through and has changed color, add Kimchi (100g) and stir-fry. (Secret Tip!) Stir-frying the kimchi enhances its depth of flavor and umami.
- Continue to stir-fry the kimchi until the liquid has evaporated. Add 200ml water, Chicken Stock Powder (1 tsp), Miso Paste (1 tsp), Soy Sauce (1 tsp), and Sugar (1 tsp).
- Stir everything together and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Once boiling, reduce heat to medium and add the sliced green onions.
- Simmer for about 3 minutes, or until the green onions are cooked.
- Finally, drizzle Sesame Oil (1 tsp) over the dish.
- Serve in a bowl and enjoy!
