Made with just yuzu and honey, this yuzu tea is quick and easy to make. Simply slice and mix! It's perfect for warming you up on cold days and can help prevent colds. Enjoy this traditional Korean drink with its delightful yuzu aroma and sweetness, packed with vitamins.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients (Easy to make portion)

  • 3 Yuzu
  • 250-300g Honey

Seasonings

  • Pinch of Salt

Steps

  1. Rub a pinch of coarse salt onto the surface of 3 yuzus.
  2. Thoroughly remove dirt from the surface with coarse salt. [Key Tip!] Ensure dirt is completely removed using coarse salt.
  3. Briefly wash the yuzus with water and pat them completely dry.
  4. Use a knife to carefully shave off any black or damaged parts of the yuzus.
  5. Cut the yuzus into 4 wedges lengthwise.
  6. Carefully remove the tough pith from the sides of the cut yuzu wedges. [Key Tip!] This pith has an unpleasant texture, so remove it meticulously.
  7. Remove the seeds from the yuzus.
  8. Squeeze plenty of juice from the yuzus into a storage container.
  9. Finely julienne the yuzu peels that you squeezed the juice from.
  10. Add the finely julienned yuzu peels to the storage container with the juice.
  11. Add 250-300g honey to the storage container.
  12. Mix the yuzu and honey thoroughly until well combined.
  13. Transfer the mixed yuzu tea to a sterilized storage jar.
  14. Pour plenty of yuzu tea into a cup and add hot water. [Key Tip!] Eating the peel along with the tea makes it even more delicious.
  15. Serve with a wooden spoon or similar utensil. Enjoy!
