Introducing 'Effortless Pot-au-feu,' a super easy recipe you can make in the microwave. Its charm lies in its simplicity, using only cabbage and sausages without a knife or stove. The vegetables become incredibly tender in a short amount of time, and the double broth of consommé and chicken stock creates a deep flavor. It's a perfect and nutritious recipe for busy days or those living alone.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients (1 serving)

  • Cabbage 160-180g
  • Sausages 1 pack

Seasonings

  • Water 250cc
  • Consommé 1 tsp
  • Chicken Stock Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Soy Sauce 1/2 tsp
  • Olive Oil 2 tsp
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • Mustard to taste

Steps

  1. Tear 160-180g of cabbage by hand. [Tip!] Tearing by hand allows the flavors to soak in more easily, resulting in a delicious finish. For the core, break it by hand to help absorb the flavor.
  2. Place the torn cabbage and 1 pack of sausages into a heat-resistant container, then add 250cc water, 1 tsp consommé, 1/2 tsp chicken stock powder, 1/2 tsp soy sauce, and 2 tsp olive oil. [Tip!] Adding chicken stock powder enhances the vegetable flavors in a way that consommé alone cannot.
  3. Cover the heat-resistant container with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 9 minutes. [Tip!] Heating for a longer time makes the cabbage incredibly tender and delicious.
  4. After heating, sprinkle with black pepper to taste.
  5. Finally, add and mix in 1/2 tsp soy sauce. [Tip!] The savory aroma of soy sauce creates a rich, simmered flavor.
  6. Serve with mustard to taste, if desired.
