Ingredients
Main Ingredients (2 servings)
- Firm Tofu 1 block
- Egg 1
- Green Onion (chopped) to taste
- Potato Starch slurry 2 tbsp
Seasonings
- Salmon XO Sauce 3 tbsp
- Ginger (minced) 1 tsp
- Taisaku Sesame Oil 1 tbsp
- Cooking Sake (Rice Wine) 1 tbsp
- Soup 100ml
- Pepper to taste
- Sesame Oil 1 tbsp
Steps
- Cut Firm Tofu (1 block) into bite-sized pieces.
- Place the cut Firm Tofu in a bowl and pour hot water over it to warm.
- Heat Taisaku Sesame Oil (1 tbsp) in a pot and sauté minced Ginger (1 tsp).
- Once fragrant, add Salmon XO Sauce (3 tbsp) and stir-fry.
- Add Cooking Sake (Rice Wine) (1 tbsp) and Soup (100ml).
- Add the warmed Firm Tofu to the pot, ensuring it's mostly submerged in the sauce.
- Cover with a lid and simmer over medium heat for 4 minutes.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with Pepper (to taste).
- Gradually add the Potato Starch slurry (2 tbsp) in 2-3 additions to thicken.
- Pour in the beaten Egg (1) and stir gently.
- Drizzle with Sesame Oil (1 tbsp) to finish.
- Plate the dish and sprinkle with chopped Green Onion (to taste).
