No fire or knife needed, just 8 and a half minutes in the microwave! With just cabbage and chicken thigh, a superb hotpot with a crisp, salt ramen-like soup is complete. It's also perfect for dieting and is the ultimate time-saving recipe to banish any void feelings.
Ingredients
Main Ingredients (1-2 servings)
- Shredded Cabbage 160g
- Chicken Thigh 170g
Seasonings
- Water 250cc
- Kombu Dashi 2/3 tsp
- Chicken Stock Powder 2/3 tsp
- Soy Sauce 1/2 tsp
- Salt 1 pinch
- Sesame Oil a little
- Yuzu Kosho 1/2 tsp
Steps
- Place Shredded Cabbage 160g in a heatproof container.
- Pour in Water 250cc, then add Kombu Dashi 2/3 tsp, Chicken Stock Powder 2/3 tsp, Soy Sauce 1/2 tsp, and Salt 1 pinch.
- Cut Chicken Thigh 170g into bite-sized pieces with scissors and spread over the cabbage in the soup. [Tip!] It's easier to cut with scissors instead of a knife.
- Cover the container with a lid or plastic wrap and heat in a 600W microwave for 8 minutes 30 seconds. [Tip!] Even with skin-on chicken thigh, removing the skin reduces calories.
- After heating, drizzle in Sesame Oil a little and add Yuzu Kosho 1/2 tsp.
