  • Bear Rib Meat 250g
  • Onion 350g
  • Water 450cc

Seasonings

  • Curry Roux 90g
  • Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
  • Butter 20g
  • Garlic 5g
  • Soy Sauce 2 tsp
  • Oyster Sauce 1 tsp
  • Rice Oil to taste
  • Salt a pinch
  • Black Pepper to taste

Steps

  1. Slice 350g onion.
  2. Heat rice oil to taste in a frying pan, add the sliced 350g onion with a pinch of salt, and sauté over high heat until browned.
  3. Once the onion is sautéed, add 250g bear rib meat and stir-fry together.
  4. Add 450cc water, cover, and simmer for about 60 minutes.
  5. Add 90g curry roux to the pot and dissolve.
  6. Add 1 tsp cumin seeds, 20g butter, and 5g garlic and mix. [Pro Tip!] Since the meat has low fat content, adding butter enhances the richness.
  7. Season with 2 tsp soy sauce and 1 tsp oyster sauce.
