Ingredients

- 1 block Firm Tofu (300-400g)
- 2 tbsp Potato Starch
- 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil
Seasonings
- Pinch of Salt
- Generous Black Pepper (coarsely ground)
Steps
- Place a weight on the firm tofu block to drain excess water.
- Cut the drained firm tofu into 2cm cubes.
- Place the cut firm tofu into a resealable plastic bag.
- Add 2 tbsp Potato Starch to the bag. Gently shake to coat the tofu evenly without breaking it.
- Heat 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Arrange the starch-coated tofu in the heated frying pan and fry until golden brown on all sides.
- Remove the fried tofu and drain excess oil.
- Season the drained tofu with a pinch of salt and generous black pepper.
- Gently toss to combine, then arrange on a plate.
