Ingredients

Main Ingredients (2 servings)

  • Green Onion (about 10cm)
  • Firm Tofu (1 block, 300g)
  • Pork Belly (100g)
  • Kimchi (100g)

Seasonings

  • [A] Chicken Stock Powder (1 tsp)
  • [A] Miso Paste (1 tsp)
  • [A] Soy Sauce (1 tsp)
  • [A] Sugar (1 tsp)
  • Sesame Oil (1 tsp)

Steps

  1. Cut Green Onion (about 10cm) into large diagonal slices.
  2. Cut Firm Tofu (1 block, 300g) into 10 bite-sized pieces.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Place the tofu pieces in the heated pan and sear until golden brown.
  5. Flip the tofu and sear the other side until golden brown.
  6. Push the seared tofu to the edge of the pan.
  7. In the cleared space, add Pork Belly (100g), torn into bite-sized pieces, and spread it out.
  8. Stir-fry the pork, being careful not to burn the tofu.
  9. Once the pork is cooked through and has changed color, add Kimchi (100g) and stir-fry. (Secret Tip!) Stir-frying the kimchi enhances its depth of flavor and umami.
  10. Continue to stir-fry the kimchi until the liquid has evaporated. Add 200ml water, Chicken Stock Powder (1 tsp), Miso Paste (1 tsp), Soy Sauce (1 tsp), and Sugar (1 tsp).
  11. Stir everything together and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  12. Once boiling, reduce heat to medium and add the sliced green onions.
  13. Simmer for about 3 minutes, or until the green onions are cooked.
  14. Finally, drizzle Sesame Oil (1 tsp) over the dish.
  15. Serve in a bowl and enjoy!
